Wholly wounds

Since its incorporation in 2023, the aim of MidSouth Wound Solutions has not been simply to offer chronic wound management and infectious disease interventions in the Midsouth. We pride ourselves on teaching our patients how to prevent wounds and how to ensure their comorbid conditions are best managed to ensure the most rapid healing possible. However, we recognize that the general medical community still struggles with not only recognizing wounds before they happen and to where patients can be sent, but with all aspects of wound management, from selected dressings to the indications for antibiotic support.

As part of our commitment to wound management, we elected to start a newsletter between the providers in the Midsouth that seek more information on wounds and those wound experts in the community: the home health nurses, the nurse practitioners, the physical therapists that have driven wound care for so long. This blog will offer a repository of data and of these communications, so the information can be available for all readers who wish to understand wholly the wound management approach.

Thank you for joining us on this journey to achieving more effective healing!
